Discover Casa Di Franco Pizzeria

Walking into Casa Di Franco Pizzeria feels like stepping into the kind of neighborhood spot people argue about-in a good way. The kind where locals swear their favorite slice is the best in town and first-timers quickly understand why the place stays busy. Sitting right at 506 Northampton St, Easton, PA 18042, United States, this diner-style pizzeria has become a familiar name for anyone who takes pizza seriously but still wants a relaxed, welcoming vibe.

From personal experience, the first thing that stands out is how consistent everything feels. I’ve eaten here on slow afternoons and packed weekend nights, and the pizza doesn’t change. That consistency usually comes from process, not luck. The staff works with house-made dough that’s prepped daily, allowed to ferment just long enough to develop flavor without going sour. According to food science research published by the American Institute of Baking, controlled fermentation improves crust texture and digestibility, and you can taste that difference here. The crust hits that sweet spot-crispy underneath, slightly chewy inside, and sturdy enough to hold generous toppings.

The menu keeps things familiar but thoughtful. You’ll find classic cheese and pepperoni slices alongside specialty pies loaded with sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. There’s also a strong showing of strombolis, calzones, and baked pasta dishes, which makes this place work just as well for dinner as it does for a quick lunch. One visit, I watched a family split a large pie and a tray of baked ziti, while another table ordered hoagies to go. That kind of flexibility is why diners like this stick around for decades.

Reviews around Easton often highlight value, and that checks out. Portion sizes are generous without feeling sloppy, and prices stay reasonable for the quality. In fact, the National Restaurant Association notes that value perception-how full and satisfied customers feel for what they pay-is one of the biggest drivers of repeat visits. Casa Di Franco Pizzeria clearly understands that balance. You leave full, not rushed, and already thinking about what you’d order next time.

There’s also something to be said for the way the kitchen runs. You can see pizzas moving from prep to oven to counter with smooth timing, even during rush hours. That kind of flow usually comes from experience, and it shows in how quickly orders come out without feeling mass-produced. The sauce tastes bright and tomato-forward, not overly sweet, which aligns with traditional Northeast-style pizza that food historians often trace back to Italian-American communities in cities like New York and Philadelphia.

Location matters too. Being right on Northampton Street makes this spot easy to reach whether you’re downtown, passing through Easton, or grabbing food before heading home. Plenty of regulars treat it as their go-to neighborhood diner, and new customers often find it through word of mouth rather than flashy advertising, which says a lot about trust.

To be fair, if you’re looking for experimental toppings or upscale plating, this might not be your place. The focus here is comfort food done right, not trends. That limitation is part of its charm, though, and it’s why the restaurant continues to earn solid reviews from locals who value reliability over novelty.

Between the straightforward menu, well-practiced kitchen, and steady reputation in Easton, this pizzeria feels earned rather than hyped. It’s the kind of place where experience shows up in every slice, and that’s usually the best recommendation of all.

  • My go-to pizza spot. Their food is always good and a favorite for everyone. I've ordered pizza, sandwiches, appetizers, and entrees here before, and it's always been good. Quick and easy delivery, too.

  • I love a good thin cheesy pizza and this was the only place in the area that seemed like they would have it and they did. I ordered and plan cheese pizza. It was very delicious and would order here again. Btw menu prices online are slightly different than their actual prices

  • Don’t let the small size of this place mislead you…BEST Italian food and pizza. They’ll make 1/2 & 1/2 pizzas when we can’t decide on one. Their veggie pizza is overflowing with veggies and cheese. Calzones are filled with gooey mozzarella and ricotta. Homemade pizza sauce and the the crust has a great flavor. Must try’s: eggplant rollatini, chicken parm, chicken Florentine and the most amazing Penne Vodka you’ll find in the valley. Eric even makes us chicken penne vodka pizza. Great for catering!! The delivery guys bring it right to your door ready to serve. Always consistent. Worth the try for sure!!

  • This pizzeria makes an AMAZING cheese pizza. For me, the cheese and sauce were FANTASTIC. The pie is cooked very well, but not burnt to avoid that crunch. The crust taste is very filling. The slice doesn't droop. The garlic knots and the cheesy garlic bread were REALLY good. The cheese was gooey, and the dipping sauce had a good flavor. Eric is a gracious owner and has created a TREMENDOUS pizza.

  • Being from the area for years, Casa Di Franco is a steadfast regular engagement with my family. Pizzas to Strombolis, Calamari, Paninis are top notch. Wonderful people and consistent quality. Recipes are so flavorful. That’s a hard task for a span of years in the restaurant industry. So many places have come and gone from my tastes. Prices are below the quality.. hope they don’t read that lol Pink Sauce on anything oh my goodness, entrees and everything made with love. Alfredo?! It’s raining and storming now, otherwise I would have some delivered just typing about it. 10/10 establishment.
